Samsung Galaxy M42 comes with an introductory price of Rs 19,999 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The original price of the model is set at Rs 21,999. The top-end model of the phone with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 23,999. Under the launch offer, this model of the phone comes at Rs 21,999. Samsung Galaxy M42 5G: Top specifications

-One of the key highlights of the latest Samsung smartphone is 5G support. -In terms of hardware setup, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

-On the rear panel, the phone includes a quad camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel image sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, 5-megapixel macro sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera comes with features such as: Single Take, Night Mode, Hyperlapse, Super-Slow motion, Scene Optimiser, and Flaw Detection. On the front, the phone includes a 20-megapixel selfie camera.

-Battery is another major highlight of the smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G includes a massive 5000mAh battery with 15W adaptive fast charging support in the box. The company claims that the phone delivers 36 hours of talktime, 22 hours of Internet browsing and 34 hours of video play on a single charge.

-The Samsung phone includes a 6.6-inch sMOLED HD+ Infinity-U display, which the company claims is capable of offering stunning multimedia and gaming experience.

-On the software front, the phone runs on Android 11 based on One UI 3.1 software version.

The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be available in two colour options: Prism Dot Black and Prism Dot Grey. Both the models will be available in the country starting May 1 on Amazon and Samsung’s e-store.
